Babysitting Training: The new Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from ASHI gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. Students will receive a wallet size certification card upon completion of the class. Students will also be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED course. This course uses AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
This is a 2 day training. On Monday you will earn your babysitting certification and Tuesday you will earn your CPR/First Aid/AED certification. To receive your certifications you must be present for both days.
Food Explorers Chocolate Week: Join Food Explorers for a chocolatey week exploring doughs, batters and more! Each day you’ll be making two recipes featuring your favorite ingredient, chocolate! You’ll be making recipes such as: From Scratch Pop-Tarts, Chocolate Fudge Buns, Chocolate Lattice Pies and Chocolate Layer Cakes! All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.

Each day you’ll be making two brand new recipes featuring produce that is in season this summer, such as: Peach Upside Down Cakes, Tomato Galettes, Mixed Berry Shortcakes and Apricot Rolls. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.

Minds in Motion: CSI Crime Scene Investigation: Come join our Minds in Motion Crime Team in this fun and interesting program! We will provide you with all the tools you need to become your very own crime scene investigator. Learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues and bring home your very own detective kit! Working in groups, you will conduct many science experiments in our crime lab to solve the mysteries at hand. You will learn all about fingerprinting and how to classify them and bring home your very own fingerprint classification sheet! You will also perform chemical analyses and observations working with powders, liquids, and much much more!
*If you sign up your child for both a morning and afternoon camp, we will have staff watch the children from 12pm-1pm for lunch and recess time. Please have your child bring a lunch from home.
