Leffingwell House Museum
Join us for a 1 hour guided tour of the historic Leffingwell House Museum in Norwich. In 1675 it started as a two room home, then in 1701 evolved into a pre-Revolutionary Tavern and by 1776 became the elegant townhouse of Norwich Patriot Christopher Leffingwell. Interpreters use displays of artifacts, dating from the founding of Norwich in 1659 through the Civil War, to evoke the lifestyle of early America.
Transportation is not provided for this trip. Participants will meet at the museum.
Ivoryton Playhouse - A Piece of My Heart
A Piece of My Heart by Shirley Lauro is a play with music, based on interviews recorded in 1986 with 26 women who served in the Vietnam War. They include nurses, volunteers and entertainers. Though the characters in the play are fictional, their stories are based on true events. Show time is 2:00pm.

Tour of The Bushnell Center
Experience the glamour of the historic Mortensen Hall; marvel at the luxuriousness of the Belding Theater; gaze at the 14-foot sparkling Chihuly 'Ode to Joy' blown glass artwork; and rub elbows with celebrities (well, almost) as you view a variety of backstage areas rarely seen by the public - including our famous autograph room and star's green room.
Tours are given by experienced volunteer guides and include information about The Bushnell's history, art, and amazing stories about the performers and shows.
